About me

I discovered my passion for horses already as a little child, and I kept this passion alive to this very day! At the age of 5, I started to vault, and two years later, I began taking formal riding instructions. Thereafter, and with my first horse, I started to gain insights into riding competitively. After cautiously experimenting with various forms of competitive horsemanship, I finally found my passion for show-jumping, which I pursued actively for a number of years.

After graduating from high school, I studied veterinary medicine at the University of Vienna. During my studies, I volunteered for a series of internships at the university’s horse clinic, ultimately specializing in orthopedics, surgery, and internal veterinary medicine. After earning my graduate degree, I went through the customary medical practice routines, during which I quickly discovered a general lack of focus on equine dentistry. This discovery led to my decision to pursue a further specialization in the field of horse dentistry. My desire for further specialization led me to Louis Pequin, whose professional career is focused on the treatment of horse teeth.

I found horse dentistry a logical specialty of veterinary medical treatment and began to take instructions from Louis in treating horses according to his methodology. After passing my equine dentistry exams, I became a licensed dental practitioner for horses. After returning from my studies in Germany, I began attending the dental needs of horses in Austria.

I always feel professionally satisfied after fixing a horse’s dental problems, thus helping both the horse and the rider in their daily equestrian work.
